Business Writing and Consultancy

As a business writer, Joan has crafted numerous materials that have been instrumental in program development and assessment creation. Her expertise extends to writing grant applications, serving as a research assistant, and performing administrative duties for Broxbourne International Inc. from 2004 to 2022. Joan’s role as a consultant at SIAST’s Extension and Marketing Division involved designing, developing, and selling training programs for community clients. She adeptly managed budgets, prepared annual reports, and delivered workshops and presentations on an international scale.

Teaching and Counseling

Joan’s dedication to education is evident from her tenure as an instructor at SIAST Woodland Campus, where she developed curricula and taught in the Chemical Dependency Counseling Program from 1996 to 2004.
